Scope Of Work

Multi-lane road junction geometry BIM modelling — carriageway, lanes, kerb lines, and road reserve boundary
Road pavement markings — lane lines, centre lines, give-way lines, stop lines, and yellow box junction no stopping zone
Pedestrian crossing facilities — zebra crossing markings, tactile paving, dropped kerbs, and splitter islands
Traffic signal systems — signal pole foundations, signal heads, controller cabinet, and signal aspect modelling
Pelican/toucan crossing infrastructure — beacon poles, push buttons, signal heads, and ground fixtures
Street lighting BIM model — cobra-head luminaires, tapered poles, underground ducting, and drawpit locations

Yield sign against an orange corrugated metal wall, relevant to road junction infrastructure.
Road signage — pedestrian crossing warning signs, direction signs, regulatory signs modelled at designed positions and heights
Green verge and landscape elements — grass verges, kerb-delineated islands, and planting areas
Footpath and shared path modelling — paving materials, kerb returns, and accessibility ramps
Underground utility interfaces — electrical ducting for signals and lighting coordinated with existing services
Clash detection — road furniture vs. underground utilities vs. civil works
LTA Road Design Standards compliance checking — sight lines, clearance zones, and sign position verification

Key Deliverables

Full road junction BIM model (Revit / Civil 3D) — carriageway, road furniture, and underground services combined
Road marking plans — construction-ready drawings showing all pavement marking types and dimensions
Traffic signal BIM model — pole positions, signal heads, controller cabinets, and underground ducting
Street lighting BIM model — pole layout, luminaire type, underground cable routes, and drawpit positions
Road signage schedule — sign types, post positions, heights, and fixing details
Pedestrian infrastructure drawings — crossing layouts, tactile paving, and accessibility compliance
Clash detection report (Navisworks) — road furniture vs. underground utilities resolved issue log
As-coordinated model handover package for contractor construction use

Why This Matters

Full Junction BIM

Every element — from road markings to signal foundations — in one coordinated model, eliminating cross-discipline drawing conflicts.

LTA Standards Built In

Road furniture positioned and sized to LTA Road Design Standards, Traffic Signs Manual, and Code of Practice for Street Works.
Road Junction Infrastructure BIM model blueprint with scale ruler, showing proposed building details.
Man viewing a 4D BIM construction sequencing model on a computer screen, showcasing a detailed 3D industrial design.

Construction-Ready

Markings, signals, and lighting documented to a level that contractors can build directly from the model and extracted drawings.

Clash Prevention

Underground signal and lighting ducts coordinated against existing utilities — preventing costly on-site discoveries.
